Personal Testimony

A testimony, or story, of your personal faith in Jesus Christ is a wonderful way to celebrate God's work in your life to draw you to Himself.

Write out your unique story. Let your focus be on who God is and what He has done in your life. Feel free to include any scripture verses you have found impactful on your journey.

This three-part outline is a helpful way to tell your story:
  1. I once was: Before I trusted Jesus, my life was...
  2. But God: I repented of my sin and trusted in Jesus Christ as my Savior... (How? When? Where? What?)

Membership Covenant

Hill City Church is seeking people who are determined to know the joy Christ intended
for His Body, the Church. To that end, we ask Membership candidates to make the following
commitments:

  1. I have, by faith, become a follower of Jesus Christ and I have been baptized as a visible way of demonstrating that commitment.
  2. I will seek to attend and fully participate in the weekly Worship Services of Hill City Church.
  3. I will pursue a faithful walk with Jesus through the disciplines of Bible study, prayer, and personal witness.
  4. I will walk in a gospel-focused community with others at Hill City Church by participating consistently in a Small Group.
  5. I will immediately establish a role of serving on a Ministry Team within Hill City Church that corresponds to my spiritual gifts and passions.
  6. I will gratefully support the ministries of Hill City Church by faithfully giving back to the Lord both cheerfully and in accordance with His leading.
  7. I will encourage unity in the teaching of Hill City Church as stated in What We Believe and What We Teach.
  8. I will care for others and be cared for according to Hill City Church’s process of church discipline.
